Learn how to install and use EcuGate for your ECU file management needs.

Installation

  1. Download the EcuGate Client installer from the Download page
  2. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions
  3. Ensure you have .NET Framework 4.7.2 or later installed
  4. Launch EcuGate from your Start menu or desktop shortcut

How to Login

  1. Open the EcuGate Client application
  2. Enter your username and password on the login screen
  3. Click the "Sign In" button
  4. If you don't have an account, contact your administrator

Note: Make sure you have an active internet connection for authentication.

Using ECU Tools

Support Tickets

The support ticket system allows you to submit ECU files for processing and communicate with the EcuGate team:

  • Navigate to the Support section in the client
  • Create a new ticket with a descriptive title and message
  • Attach your ECU file (supported formats: .bin, .hex, .ori, .mod)
  • Submit the ticket and track its progress
  • Receive notifications when your ticket is updated

ORI File Repository

Access and search the original ECU file database:

  • Navigate to the ORI Files section
  • Use the search function to find specific ECU files by make, model, or ECU type
  • Download original files for reference or comparison
  • View file metadata and categories

File Uploads

When uploading files:

  • Files are automatically compressed for efficient transfer
  • Progress is displayed for large file uploads
  • Multiple files can be bundled in a single upload
  • All uploads are validated and securely stored

Supported File Formats

  • .bin - Binary ECU files
  • .hex - Intel HEX format files
  • .ori - Original ECU files
  • .mod - Modified ECU files

Troubleshooting

Connection Issues

If you cannot connect to the server:

  • Check your internet connection
  • Verify the API server is accessible
  • Check firewall settings
  • Contact your administrator if issues persist

Login Problems

If you cannot log in:

  • Verify your username and password are correct
  • Ensure your account is active
  • Contact support if you've forgotten your password
